Welcome to the Young Women's Horizon Center's Website MISSION STATEMENT The Young Women's Horizon Center will promote and facilitate positive self sufficiency through tailored holistic strategies addressing issues including life skills, drug abuse, vocational rehabilitation, domestic violence prevention and job readiness. Additionally, we will provide transitional and re-entry housing services to young women including ex-offenders in efforts to reduce recidivism and social service dependence in the community. YWHC’s efforts will assist in creating a more stable community by showing young women the venues and opportunities where success can be achieved and maintained one horizon at a time. |
